I have just returned from leave and had recorded numerous programmes on our PVR. Not for the first time, 90% of them were black, i.e. there is nothing but a black screen and it does not play back. Try what one may, nothing gets these "black holes" to play!
I also wish to note that DSTV On Demand, while being a great service idea, is so inconsistent that it actually renders itself useless and an embarassment to Multichoice.
When one calls Multichoice, one receives the standard reponse, "it must be signal" or "come in and have your machine tested" - in Randburg, lest one forget...
At a cost of nearly R700 per month I expect a much better service from this company but I also understand that without competition this will be highly unlikely in the future. So perhaps my rant on here will achieve some result but I sincerely have my doubts. I will in closing issue a warning to you Multichoice, you are no longer the much vaunted organisation you once were and continue to think that you are. Many of my family and friends will be turning our backs on you as the internet in this country begins to take control of your airspace.
