Multichoice
Debit Order Incentive

I signed up for DSTV for the Olympics. At the time I agreed to a debit order, but was not informed of the debit order incentive of R100. At the time I also queries about stopping and starting my service and was told all I needed to do was call in more than 5 days prior to the end of the month to stop the debit.
In Nov I called in to cancel my subscription as I would be away for most of Dec and Jan and did not want to pay for service I could not use. When I called the consultant then told me I needed to cancel my debit order and then call in again at the end of the month to suspend the service. When calling to suspend I was told I now owed R100 for the debit order incentive. The consultant was extremely helpful and made a note on the system so I could deal with it in the new year. I called in to reactivate my service, resubmit the debit order and queried the R100. I was told I would get feedback and all the outstanding balance would come off with my next debit order (partial of current month). I never got feedback so followed up and was told I needed the pay the current balance (which I did) or my service would be suspended. I still have not got any feedback regarding the incentive.
