Iain MacDonald and his company, Macs Music, were hired as the DJ company for our wedding. The ONLY reason for choosing this company was all other DJ companies were honest enough upfront to advise they could not supply music without a power cable. Iain advised that it could be done and he would be able to use a Ghetoblaster type equipment to play the music for the ceremony. Iain phoned practically everyday trying to close the deal, promising a 'draft CD of all the music', that he could cut a song a certain way, that he would meet the wedding planner. Needless to say, the day before the wedding - NO ghetoblaster, NO draft CD, NO cut song. We had to run around and at our own cost hire a silent generator (as a back up) to the convertor we needed to use off our own car battery. The rudeness displayed on the day of the wedding, the unprofessionalism and dishonesty of this man and company is a cause of great concern and this company should NOT be used for any DJ or other entertainment work. We have tried to recover these additional costs we incurred, however Iain wont return emails or telephone calls. All wedding venues should ensure this company is not listed as a preferred supplier.
