Poor quality of DSTV Decoders and Service Centres

Since Nov we experienced problems with our decoder. The HDMI port did not work anymore.
We took it in and they exchanged it for another decoder (not a new one, one that was already broken and repaired AND all our recordings were lost) After 2 weeks, the "new" one also didn't work. It didn't play back recordings. Had to take it back again and lost another set of recordings.
Got there, the service agent had a really bad attitude, again it was exchanged for another decoder.
The problem we have now is that the decoder doesn't want to record 2 channels at once. It just bombs out and needs to be restarted.
And then we pay an extremely high premium for the premium subscription Insurance, for something that doesn't even work and is costing us to drive backwards and forwards.
We also spend hours with the call centre on the phone, and everytime after 30 minutes on the phone, they will tell us to take the recorder to your nearest service centre!
Our Current HD PVR model is the DV3 (Silver) View 1 record 2.
The Agency we are dealing with is Expectra in Giftacres Pretoria.
They would have escalated it on Monday and would have given me a call by Wednesday. No Response.
