In Dec 2011 (yes, 2011) I purchased a DSTV Drifta. I commute weekly in SA. The Drifta works in various different locations around the country, but not where I stay a few times a month in Fourways Gardens, although it works 200m from my house. The coverage map shows I am in the coverage area.
To try and get DSTV to resolve is impossible. They promise to phone back, but if they do, they call you once and if you cannot answer, never call back again. The on line fault description is useless, I must have filled the form in 5 times without a response.
I have spoken to call centre agents and supervisors and while they are polite they are incredibly useless.
13 months later I am hoping they will respond to this.
