I entered a father's day competition on DSTV COMPETITIONS, via my decoder. I got a phone call about three months ago, from Portia from DSTV, telling me that I had won a competition, it was a father's day competition, it is a hair voucher -to the value of R2000, 00 and that it can be used in any salon in Durban. I was ecstatic, that I won a competition for the first time. I was called by a courier company to ask for address to drop of gift. I was so excited I went to them. when I opened the envelope, the voucher stated that it can only be redeemed in Gauteng or Pretoria, I then called the Company that was sponsoring the price, Gary Rom Salons, they confirmed that it can only be redeemed in Gauteng and Pretoria Branches. I contacted DSTV several times to ask what can be done, Portia did say she will try, she needs to escalate to her manager. I called her a lot more times there after, I user to get the run around. Eventually she gave me a number for link Marketing, spoke to Kelsy, she tried to help, but also got no where. Nothing on the terms and conditions stated that this competition was only for subscribers Gauteng, DSTV have a don't care attitude about the competition.
