My family of 4 were hugely disappointed with the planning around the Rihanna concert. The co-ordination of traffic was horrific, it took me 40 minutes to complete 1km - 4 hours to drive 15km. As we only got to the traffic circle on Nasrec road at 9h15 we decided to turn around and go home as there was still traffic trying to get into general parking - which I had also paid for - and I was sure with all the cars that there trying to get in we wouldnt find a place to park and would only get into our seats as the concert was ending. My daughters were bitterly disappointed and I am outraged as it cost me R820 per ticket R3280 plus R80 parking. The trip to the stadium was hugely stressful as there was no metro to control the traffic and on numerous occasions my vehicle was nearly bumped into as people tried to move from the emergency lanes into my lane, I was in fact involved in a 3 car bumper bashing due to the traffic gridlock and now have an extensive repair cost to also cover over and above the tickets that were wasted. I do believe that BIg Concerts owe those who got caught in this traffic gridlock their money back as we didnt miss the show due to our poor planni
