After being constantly disappointed with DSTV, I have run out of patience.
When it comes to sport we all pay the full price in order to get all the supersport channels so we can follow our favourite sports. DSTV, have deemed it acceptable to CUT shows 2/3rd's in and fill the last 1/3 of the show with random snippets of highlights! Does this mean I can just pay 2/3 or my subscription???
This is completely unacceptable, if the show runs from 18:00 to 19:00 and it isn't live it better finish to the last piece of that program! To cut a program that leads to you missing out on the last part of a race is NOT what I paid for!
This has happened on numerous occasions, and always seems to be the same channel (SS2 / SS2HD), and usually with WRC: The magazine show. ALWAYS on a Monday first airing they chop the last 15 mins, with either cricket highlights, or something else.
Tonight was the final straw though. I missed the live race of MOTOGP, so I figured it will be fine to record and watch the repeat. So, I recorded it, and with 3 laps to go (roughly 23 mins of the recording), and it cuts back to the beginning of the race (23 laps remaining)! Needless to say I missed the END!!!
