So, we went to the cinema with our children in February and found ourselves covering their eyes from the trailers showing at the refreshment kiosk. 6 months later and we're back and I have the SAME complaint!! The 2.15pm show and my 8 yr old and 6 yr old need to cover their eyes from the "Kick- 2" trailer (among other similar trailers) showing at the refreshment kiosk... once again, we are not there to watch a movie with adult-rated content, so why should my children be subjected to something that is NOT suitable! And then the new "Percy" movie trailer shows IN the cinema and the trailer was definitely not rated for the audience at that movie. Come on Ster Kinekor! Movie ratings are there to protect the kids... it doesn't help if we don't know what's coming!!
And then the quality of the video (grainy, dust speckled and unclear) and the sound made watching the movie feel like a very expensive experience for a very poor showing!
I find myself wondering why we keep going back to Ster Kinekor. I think Nu Metro will be our next stop.
