On 3 July I checked the Ster-Kinekor website to see if there was a late night showing of Man of Steel. The website showed an 23:00 viewing at Eastgate. Because it was late night, I figured there was no need to book online. I went to Eastgate, and arrived there at 22:55 only to find all the gates closed. Staff members were milling about inside, but I was unable to rouse any of their attention to query the viewing time. I sent a message via Facebook to SK that same night, hoping to receive some clarity, but that message was ignored. I'd like to think that they are open for the advertised times, but evidently that's too much to expect.
