A few weeks ago, I had to call the Multichoice Call Centre twice because firstly my HD PVR died and I had to make my Extra View decoder the primary so I could watch television and then once the HD PVR was repaired, I had to call them to put things back to normal. Both calls were lengthy and I have just found out cost me R79.55 and R155.05 respectively - what a rip off! Yes I called from my cell phone but it should be free or sharecall for subscribers.
As it was there was a wrong connection of cables between my decoders (my fault) but the call centre agent didn't even mention a pulse cable (in the wrong place and the cause of the problem) and had me changing cables and running between the primary and secondary decoders for ages. Eventually I had to call an installer out to remedy and that cost more money.
