On the 28/04/2013 my family and I all went for a quad bike experience at earth adventures, purchased through Groupon. For most us it was our first quad bike attempt, we received very little instruction, by a very arrogant guide who only cared about speeding up and not about us. The quad bikes were all in a shocking condition, while driving the chain on one of our bikes kept on falling off. The trail which was specifically advertised as being easy enough for a beginner, was shocking. We also had to cross a main road, which I'm sure is illegal.
My accident happen when the bike started goin off trek suddenly, and there was nothing I could do to turn in straight, my bike hit a big rock and capsized. I broke both my hands, with my bone piecing right through my skin.. The guide on seeing this went into a panic state and didn't know what to do, we had to tell him to call the owner, Jaco. On arriving all Jaco said was "I called an ambulance but don't tell them this happened on a quad. " He refused to drive us to a clinic, his parents finally agreed to drive us. He has never contacted me thereafter. He is selling again on groupon, I think the public should be warned before anyone gets hurt.
