We were renting a unit at Bedford Terrace in Bedfordview.
unfortunately we were robbed in our unit in the early hours of the morning in December. We moved out the same day, and gave our notice to terminate our rent. Which was 1 full months notice.
The owner had a 2month deposit from us, which we allowed him to take the months notice rent out of the deposit as well as the water and lights owing.
After all of that we were to get back /-R4000.00 from our deposit. We have received nothing, we have tried calling and have gotten no response back from the owner and his agent. It has been 3months already!
Never mind what we have gone through, there has been no decency from the owner or agent getting back to us.
