I had a tenant who signed a lease for the 1 Feb'13
The agent, Liam Williams, told me that the tenant wanted to take occupation earlier
i specifically told Liam that the tenant needs to pay a pro-rata portion before they move in and that he needs to get a proof of payment before allowing them to move in. he assured me that this was done and that i shouldnt be worried.
Once i received the rental for February i saw that the pro-rata portion had in fact not been paid. i queried this with Liam and he told me the tenant had paid but it was more than they needed to and they also needed to confirm that it in fact was my tenant who paid. Liam because after speaking to the lady who deals with the billings at Seeff i found out that the tenant had in fact NOT paid a pro-rata portion and that Liam had to me and not listened to a simple instruction and as a result iam now out of pocket because of his negligence. when i confronted him about this he could not answer me and did not even bother to apologise.
i even had to follow up with him about the incomplete lease i had. what is the point in paying a manageing fee when his not even manageing my property! im completely disgusted
