I have a house in Deneysville which through Harcourts, Vaaldam branch had placed a tenant.
After more than a year the tenant defaulted by not paying the rent etc. In Sept 1012 I was eventually able to evict her.
I then notified both the agent and the Manager to please pay out the Deposit plus interest to me as I was advised by the then Manager of Harcourts/Vaaldam.
Subsequently I reminded the agent about the deposit a couple of times. The agent told me to contact the bookkeeper at the Springs branch and was told that the deposit had been placed into an account by the Manager and that I would have to ask him for the deposit back.
I sent an email to the Manager and also to the CEO of Harcourts and received one email back from the manager with a very rude reply and none from the CEO.
All the advice I have received is send an email to this person, and then to that person.
I have written more emails than I would like to think off, and have had no joy in getting the deposit back. This now being 2014 my patience is been tried long enough. Can anyone help me to retrieve my deposit, plus the now accumulated interest?
