LVP Letting managed the rental of my townhouse for about 16months, at the time of agreeing to the mandate of LVP Letting (which is also an attorney firm) the director LVP mr Kobus De Villiers made the following statement: "because LVP is also a law firm, LVP provide the reassurance that if the tenant does not pay his rent on the 1st, LVP has the power to reposess the tenants belongings on the 2nd"
Very reassuring words, but not a single month has gone by that LVP delivered on their promise and I did not receive my rent on time ever! the norm was around the 15th of each month if any!
after numerous calls and emails of me contacting LVP's Richard Hitten and Kobus De Villiers, I never received any adequate response. for Dec'12 rent was received on the 21st and for Jan'13 no rent at all was received.
After voicing my dissatisfaction mr Kobus De Villiers as director and attorney thought it would be wise to threaten me instead of removing the tenant in breech of his contract. in his words "I must continue with my complaints, he as senior attorney would teach me an expensive lesson"
LVP is useless as a letting agent, and I would have the same opinion for their law firm.
