Yvonne Nathan Real Estate Management issues fines of R1000 with providing any proof (dates, times witnesses) even after request this several times!
Please be warned if Yvonne Nathan Real Estate Management manages your complex and issues any fines, they need to provide you with proof according to the South African Property Sectional Title Law or else it is. I have requested the date and time of the offence several times over that pass few months but they have been unable to do so but the fine remains on my utility bill. I have the email correspondence to prove this!
Secondly, according to law, the fine should pass the 'reasonable man test'. If the fine is unreasonable or excessive (R1000) then you need to consider what the motive really is for the high fines. Is Yvonne Nathan Real Estate Management earning income, commission or admin fees from this.
Example: I live on the 3rd floor and I have been issued with R1000 fines for housing a dog. How can I maintain a dog on the 3rd floor (common sense right?). I travel a lot, so I hardly stay there, and at least 4 days a week I don't come home, so how can I own a pet, I can't even maintain a plant with my current lifestyle
