On 21 January I went to renew / re-issue my passport. I was assisted by extremely helpful people and was sorted in under an hour, from start to finish.
Exactly 2 weeks later I received a SMS informing me that my passport is ready. I went and collected it without any issues.
I think that this is exemplary service.
