I complained about Discovery life not honouring my OEB and ICB policy after my accident. I explained my case in detail and after 18 months of going backwards and forwards, Discovery life made a ruling in their favour of course and the ombudsman seem to fall in line with them, without even reading the facts on my policy schedule... I understand that the insurance companies pay money towards the ombudsman, it seems to me that they are getting paid to be in favour of the insurance companies...
