My brother's is disabled and received a monthly pension from SASSA up to June 2013. His pension was stopped in July 2013 by SASSA even though they promised in the national press not to stop any pensions, because he did not re-register. As he is disabled, he cannot visit the registration centre and I therefore requested SASSA to do a home registration to which they agreed to. However, their service provider have not responded and nothing has been done since July 2013, in spite of various email requests to process the re application. My brother has not received any pension for 7 months now.
