National Skills Academy For Financial Services
Let down by NSAFS

I am distressed and inconvenienced by NSAFS and the time taken to inform students of the approval lists. I have worked very hard with my studies and have ensured that I maintain an average between 75-80%. It is my last year of varsity and have been dependant on NSAFS to pay my school fees for the past two years, since the passing of my parents. I understand that NSAFS had issues with the funding, however, they must be considerate to the students who have applied for financial aiding. We dont apply for funding out of choice but due to financial circumstances- that is my understanding of this funding scheme. I have had to ask my aunt to take a loan for me to pay registration and don't know how I am going to pay my school fees and let alone my text books. I know i am not the only person affected by this matter but I plead with NSAFS to review my application. My final mark for 2012 was 75%, student number: 201208447. I have also completed the appeal application and returned it to the NSFAS offices at UJ- Auckland Park. To conclude this complaint, i ask that you review your decision and accept my application.
