18 months to resolve one query!!!

I am now so frustrated at the absolute incompetence of Joburg City! I have had an adjustment query on our water account pending since May 2012. Over 20 calls to the call centre and 6 visits to the customer service centre. (Yes I said customer service...!?). We now have our property on the market and cannot sell the house without the adjustment being done. After another visit to the walk in centre at 100 Christiaan de Wet Dr. in Roodepoort this morning - I still have no resolve. A most unhelpful and downright arrogant supervisor by the name of Lebo at the centre was quite adamant in telling me that 'she is not going to resolve my query in the way that I want just because I say so, and if I report her she WILL win! Really?? It's her job to at least attempt to help - minus the shocking attitude! My query has been outstanding for 18 months and she has the cheek to ask me why I have only come in today to sort it out now that I want to sell my house! She will 'apparently' call me this afternoon with feedback, I await with anticipation!! I want this query sorted out and after 18 months surely I have the right to be frustrated and angry! Media action is next - I am done!!
