On the 29th of September 2013 at exactly 17:30 Police officer at waterfront SAPS tore up our statement after he took 30 minutes to take it. We were reporting that someone our bags and car keys in the clock tower underground packing out of the car. The security head office needed a case number in order to help us view the security footage at the parking lot. The police officer told us our bags are gone anyway so he does not understand, why we are panicking. He literally was in a go slow. He then asked one of my frnds to take a second statement to state that bags were really in the car. His colleague then disagreed on that saying he can add it on the same statement, we were panicking and agreed with the officer cz 30 minutes had passed already. We thn told him like his colleague had advised him to add the information instead of making a second statement, he got upset and told us to get someone else to help us coz we think we clever and tore everything up and left. We had to start everything from scratch at that time it was 17h40. I think it was very unprofessional and there was no empathy at all. We went to the police for help instead we got attitude!
