I have noticed over the past couple of days that a whole block of parking has been sectioned off with guards at the entrance.
As a result, despite getting to the station early, I am having to park at the extreme far end of the parking because I have not been able to park where I usually park.
Today I stopped and asked the security guards why they have taped that whole section off and was told it is being kept for SUV's.
I am so angry, because of an incident at the Sandton station which was hugely publicised, my BMW is not as important as an SUV. My vehicle has to be parked at the extreme end of the station despite the fact that I get there early because one SUV was stripped at the Sandton parking station.
It is discrimination. One type of vehicle should not take precedent over another.
As a result of this - there are about 4 to 6 security guards standing at the entrance of the SUV parking and there is not a single guard at the end of the parking where I am parked. I regard this as discrimination. My vehicle is just as important as anyone else's.
