Controlling traffic is bad

The traffic cops who control the traffic between boundary road, Slovenia and Aureole rd in the north of joburg just next to Cosmocity, they make the traffic to be worse, but when they are not controlling the traffic just flows, i use the rd everyday and leave my house the same time, and last week they were not there and i got to work in time, from yesterday it got worse, left my house the same time but got to work late and today it was even worse, traffic was strecthing upto Cosmocity ext7, and got to work even more late, i think its better when they are not at the stop sign cause i can get to work early without waiting 10minutes for traffic to move, its so irritating cause i cant change my time because of them, i just feel they make things worse rather than helping the situation
