On the 2nd of May 2013 I, Christopher-John Bompas (ID 8509225012089), applied for a re-issue of my ID and a renewal of passport at Johannesburg Central Home Affairs, Cnr. Plein & 77 Harrison St. About the 3 weeks ago I followed up to discover that the documentation has not been sent to Pretoria as yet. Unfortunately, the said individual who is responsible wasn't there.
Today, 25 June 2013, I phoned the call centre and the only thing that they can tell me is my documents are still at the same Home Affairs Office. I am then asked to phone that office, which I did several times and no one is available to answer my query.
To make matters worse my wallet was last week and I can't even apply for another bank card with my bank FNB because my temporary ID on its own is insufficient. As a result, I can't access my salary.
I ask the authorities concerned to please action an enquiry so that I can receive my documents. My personal wellbeing as a citizen of South Africa is being compromised becuase of Maladministration.
