Reservations at Tabakbaai resort, upon arrival they were not aware of our booking and the living quarters that was offered to us was horrendous it was unsafe as the first bungalow's door handle broke and the second was unable to remove key from security gate in unlocked position. The smell in both places was terrible and was then blamed on construction workers in the resort. We were then sent to Saldanha Resort which was not any better hygiene wise and was a dirty bungalow that we were shown. We then informed the receptionist that we would not be able to live in these conditions, she then gave us the number of Angeline Waits at Vredenburg Municipality who then informed us that she would speak to Mr Randall Julies and he would contact us. We then returned to Cape Town. Numerous correspondence has been entered to between myself and Vredenburg Municipality and subsequently have not heard back from them since the beginning of April 2013. I am requesting my payment back with interest and think it would only be fair for travelling expenses as we had to cancel more than half of our holiday due to this. And had to have more expenses.
