I have received a "sales confirmation" email from Trudon Publishers of Yellow Pages without even having requested for an advert to be placed on behalf of my business. I merely requested a quote from the telesales representative and even refused to give her my ID Number and Company Registration Number when she attempted to coerce me to provide more details about myself and my business. I know how unscrupulous some companies can be when it comes to telesales and it would much unfortunate if Trudon would use that approach to get clients. Judging by some of the complaints on this site it seems like the company is headed there. I would like to request my business not be advertised in their publications as the email they sent me seems to have confirmed an order from me which I did not make, after being called out of the blue by the agent I was polite and had at least the decency to see if I can benefit from the service so I merely requested a QUOTE. I am not interested in using the services of a business that operates in this manner, as I certainly do not treat my current and potential clients like that.
