The MacNeil plastic pipes installed by Solartech for our solar geyser in December 2009 did not have the black plastic device inserted, which is required by the manufacturer. The pipes have since then swollen and are about to break. Pictures of the problem pipes have been sent to Solartech.
Solartech do not accept that they are liable and responsible for this faulty installation. These faulty pipes need to be replaced by them before they burst and cause serious flooding in my house.
I am also concerned that other installations may also have the same problem, and will cause problems for other customers.
