For 2 years my husband has been fighting with SABC with his tv license account. We are married for almost 4 years. I have a tv license and as far as i know you only need ONE tv license per household. He has sent them our marriage certificate as that's what they asked for. They have now handed him over to their debt collectors which are now once again asking for a marriage certificate, copies of our ID's and an affidavit! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! It's a freaking TV license! I feel as though the next thing they will be asking is the DNA of our kids to make sure the 2 of us are their parents. The staff are so incompetent. this matter could have been resolved 2 years ago if they done their job properly! Now that the bill has added on interest etc, we have to foot the bill, pay a cancellation fee AND send them all these documents. I am so upset with these people but the sad thing is they will NEVER be held accountable for anything.
