To all Brides to Be,
Stay away from Bridalwearhouse.
As per the lady who booked my appointment, the appointment was to be free of charge, until I go there, and was then told I would have to pay R 100 per dress fitting.
She then took me to a measly room about 15m2 with two hanging rails and wedding gowns so miserably hanged that I could not make out heads or tails. I then asked to view the so called " over 1500 dresses to choose form" but was told that those dresses where not for hire, and that the dresses for hire are the - 20 - 25 dressing in the small room.
The Wedding Gown conditions were appalling, beading were coming undone, the dresses where dirty and faded, almost a yellow colour. Not to mention out dated and definitely not taken care of. They were hanging or wire hangers! And there was no fitting room.
I then asked the lady do they have any dresses in stock which are of mermaid style, with a sweetheart neck line? She looked at me all confused and said the wedding dresses I was staring at was the only ones they have! Despite the fact of a huge room next to us with plenty of dresses.
Really disappointed that I had travelled from Roodepoort to have my time wasted!
