Deposit paid, supplier disappeared

I ordered 2 adult Impala rams from Dirk Dippenaar on 19 June 2012. I paid a 50% deposit and according to the contract he would deliver the animals with in 30 days.

He never delivered the animals, was seldom available when contacted, even changed his cell phone number without notice. Got hold of his brother to get his new number.

For 4 months I tried contacting him, leaving messages. On the odd occasion I used a different number and got hold of him. Every time he promised to deliver with me waiting for someone that never pitched up.

I sms, emailed, left voice messages to either deliver or return the deposit, but until today no reaction.
