This is the original email I sent to the company and as yet have had no response.. a phone call or and email apology would have been appreciated.

I am so disappointed by the answer I got from a young lady who answered my request.
I recieved a voucher from your Spa as a birthday gift from my daughter which was valid from the 12.12.2012 to 11.03.2013. I totaly forgot about it until my daughter reminded me to phone and make a booking before it expires. I did this today 04/03/13 but was informed by your receptionist you were fully booked. She had an opening for 6.30pm which does not suit me, as my husband is in St Augustine's hospital and visiting hrs is 7-8pm
I asked her if I could use this voucher at a later date, she said no but I could get a refund from Groupon. i said I really wanted the treatment not refund. Her reply was " If you forgot about the voucher then it is not my problem"This reply was totaly unexpected and unprofessional for a person dealing with customers. I was taken aback so I said to her I know it 's not your problem, I will get the refund then, bye.
Not the service i expected..
