In December 2012 a few friends and I were searching for accommodation in Cape Town. We came across waterfront suites greenpoint [URL Removed] and well, the words "suites" and "waterfront" appealed to us. Do not believe what you see on the website! We obviously should've known better when we saw the one page website with pics, but thought it is in greenpoint and looks good, so why not. The price was also not cheap so we thought central, neat and clean. Upon booking I checked to see if there were any negative comments on the broader internet for this place and nothing. Well. I will be the first and hopefully help many!
After having arrived, we saw how filthy (was scared to even sit down) this place was (rooms, reception etc). Outside one of the rooms that they had us was an empty dirty pool, with a little puddle of rain and a baby's cot in it. Imagine! The beds were broken! To date the owner Ian Saev has not given us the 50% refund he committed to giving us. Its been 3 months and not a word from him. He will rather cheat people out of their money and that is sad...
