I was looking for assistance to obtain my unabridged marriage certificate, which I had applied for at Home Affairs several months earlier. In response to my query, I did not get so much as a salutation or 'thank you for your query'. I nevertheless continued negotiations with the company and was happy with the price that was set. However, Michele Steynberg asked that payment be made in full upfront, which I was not happy with, as I had no guarantee that she could deliver on her promises. When I offered to pay half up front and half upon delivery, she responded with 'ABSOLUTELY NOT'. When I told her that this was not good business sense and threatened to report her, she responded with 'BOO HOO'. If she had shown me some manners and respect as a potential client, and simply explained that this was unfortunately her policy and asked me to reconsider, I may have changed my mind about paying the money upfront. As it was, I swiftly moved on to another company and recommend everyone to stay away from Docu-solve PTY LTD (Passport Assist).
