I've ordered an item (EI201941836US) from the US, it was dispatched on the 11th of February, it landed in SA and cleared customs in a reasonable period of time (15th of Feb), from there on out things went downhill... According to EMS, it has been stuck at: "Receive item at location 2013/02/17 22:06:10 CAPETOWN A AIR PRIORITY LETTER". I've tried to enquire at my local PO in Stellenbosch and they could not assist me without a domestic tracking code, instead, they gave me a number to call (apparently customs). I've tried calling this number several times and it just rings and rings... it's now the 28th of February and I have absolutely NO idea what happened to the consignment or how to even go about getting a domestic tracking code.
This leaves me very disappointed in SAPO (capemail, or whoever is responsible) and I absolutely hate having to resort to sites like this to address very obvious inefficiencies.
