ESKOM MUST REIMBURSE TAXPAYERS FOR LOSSES SUFFERED

Unannounced load shedding occurred in the newlands east area at 3h30pm (19 february 2013)... at 22h00 the electricity is still not on..with the terrible humidity lead the fridge to defrost ruining a months supply of perishable goods. hich were purchased on 17/2/2013.
I called the call centre to find out exactly what is happening at 21h30pm to which i got the response the technicians are working on it by which time half the area had electricy..just the new section was in darkness so i requested to speak to the superior on duty..i was put on hold until i hung up...
This is just disgusting and unacceptable from eskom considering its taxpayers money funding the organisation that cannot deliver good service..
Eskom needs claims lodged against them for losses suffered as a result of the power outages because its an expense we as consumers have to endure for eskoms inefficiencies..
