My daughter, Roseanne de Villiers, sold products for Avon last year. She made a final payment and provided proof of payment to them. That was February last year, 2012. She started receiving SMS's from attorney's and they were not very specific as to what the reasons for their messages were. She chose to ignore it, thinking it's a phone. She eventually received a phone call from them on 05 February 2013 claiming that because she paid Avon late, she has to pay a legal fee of 150 rand to them. They did not send her a letter or any documentation or statement of account to indicate who they are and why they are calling her a year later and threatening to list her on ITC. I would like a response from Avon, as to why these attorneys are following up a year later for money's that have already been paid and I don't appreciate the fact that they threatened to put her on ITC. She is still young and I would hate to have career prospects ruined by an ITC listing for a 150 rand?
