My Kia Sorento CRDI 7 seater (flagship vehicle - latest model) broke down on the 3rd of December 2013. Vehicle is still under warranty and has a active maintenance plan.

It is now the 4th of February 2014 and I still have not received my vehicle back from them and have been stuck without a vehicle for 9 weeks (It's apparently against company policy to give out loan vehicles). After several letters and numerous phone calls, there only excuse is that they originally struggled to diagnose the problem and then when they finally did get it diagnosed (cracked oil cooler), they did not have the part available in the country.

When they finally did receive the part, they could not book the vehicle in and prioritise the repairs, because there service department was fully booked for the week. Ridiculous!!

Through this entire experience they have been arrogant, unaccommodating and terrible communicators. There customer service is shocking, their maintenance infrastructure is insufficient and this makes their maintenance plans / warranties worthless which is why I bought the car.

You think you're getting value for money when you buy a Kia, but 9 Weeks without a vehicle is priceless!
