Following on my other report of Nicci Morris of Nicolette Weddings, Nicci refused to refund a requested partial deposit and continued to attempt to charge us more money claiming that she had completed 70% of the hours allocated to our wedding where she had merely arranged a few meetings for us with venues. She has retained our money and ignored all peaceful pleads to come to a fair agreement. In addition, Nicci states in her contract that she provides a "budget plan" - this was never received and she pushed us into booking a venue in Cape Town (while I was holding back until we received catering options so I could understand what type of spend we were in for), which was COMPLETELY out of budget. Just for venue hire, catering and coordination we had gone over our budget. We had to cancel with the said venue, and luckily they have refunded us our deposit. I would recommend that no couple make use of Nicolette Weddings and this "company" is ruining the name and reputation of wedding planners completely as I am sure there are some good companies out there.
