I recently moved from Pretoria to Cape Town and was blown away by the service supplied by the Biddulphs branches in both Cape Town and Pretoria, but particularly in Pretoria.
Two areas stand out:
1. The Price. I got quotes from the three top companies in South Africa. Biddulphs came in around 30 to 50% cheaper than the opposition.
2. The Service. They literally packed my stuff like it was their own possessions, with extreme care. I have a million Rand library comprising 2000 books and over the years have learned from hard experience, that a great deal of skill is needed in packing books properly. These guys did a better job than I could have done. One specialist packer spent an entire day just on packing the books.
The Pretoria branch dealt with all my questions efficiently and this included Owen the senior branch manager contacting me personally to attend to my concerns.
In this regard I also have to mention the outstanding work of Victor, the consultant who attended to my move right down to personally dismantling expensive furniture and organizing individual custom built wooden crates for each item of my expensive audio equipment.
