We bought a xtrail from Roodepoort dealership thinking that everything is in order, We took ownership off this vehicle 1 NOV. We found a hair line crack concealed under a service sticker on the top right hand corner of the front windscreen, we advised Marius van der Merwe immediately about the issue. The first reply we received was that it had a roadworthy certificate issued. The AA consultant would not have seen this crack, it was on the tinting and was not visible from the outside. Wednesday afternoon the crack went from 6 cm- 30cm. on Thursday the 7th the reply we got is that he is still investigating. I lodge the complaint with Nissan SA and was advised that Marius will investigate. On the 11th the vehicle went for a service at Nissan, and Marius confirmed that the backboard, spare keys, service book and front window was ordered.
Yesterday the 13th my husband contacted Nissan and received confirmation that the backboard was only ordered on the 13th. Marius contacted Chris and advised that Louis the PD refused to install a new window.
