Yesterday (05/02/13) my lower balljoint (BJ) came out of my lower control arm. The BJ's aren't even a year old. My car has been to CV joint Centre 4 times in the last 2 months, all comebacks for poor workmanship to have the CV's redone/boots replaced. Devlin, who worked on the car last totally excluded himself from any responsibility. It was discovered that the BJ's thread had been stripped, causing the split pin to carry all the load until it failed (my car was there 10 January 2013 to have the inner right CV boot replaced as the last one was damaged upon install) This caused the lower control arm to fall away, ripping my inner CV out, damaging my rim, mudflap, door, sideskirt and destroying my fender and fender liner. His response was 'this car has lowered suspension so we can't be responsible for this, if this was our fault it would of happened immediately after we took the car off the stands'. He was last to work on my car, he would've removed&replaced the BJ nut 8 times. 3 weeks later, my cars second outing since the work done by them my lower BJ nut comes off and is found to be stripped completely. Co incidence that that was the same side worked on? -You do the math.
