While travelling to Durban for holiday, the engine light came on, on our Citroen C1. We took it to the Peugeot/Citroen shop. Peugeot run the repair centre. They were a bit busy, but Alwin jumped up from the desk at the back and came to assist. He booked in our car for the next morning and advised it would be R600 to fault find the problem. That night the light went off. We took it in anyway so they could check it. They found the problem to be a sensor. Alwin called us with the news and advised they do not have the part - t would need to be ordered from France which would take 2 weeks and so could not repair the car. He also advised the car would be fine to drive back to Jhb and we could get it fixed there. Upon collecting the car, Alwin advised we do not need to pay as they could not fix it. He also gave me the report of the problem to take to Citroen/Peugeot in Jhb.
