I took my car into 'Speedy' Tyre and fitness service centre in Buitengracht street Cape Town yesterday as they were local to my offices and I had an issue with my car pulling to the right quite badly.
I had 4 brand new tyres fitted by another well know company fitment centre a few weeks before and my cars handling quickly deteriorated after they were fitted. I took the car back to them to fix and they suggested I change the shocks which was another R2500 which seemed odd.
I took the car to 'Speedy' for a 2nd opinion and after a 30 second test drive 'Werner' knew the issue and confirmed it definitely wasn't the shocks. They had the car jacked up within a few minutes and tested the wheel alignment/balancing etc only to realise the other company had sold me a defective tyre.
Werner and his team were incredibly efficient and helpful and didn't even charge me for the service which seems unheard these days as most companies are out to extort and excellent customer service is rare these days.
Saying that I would highly recommend 'Werner' and Speedy in Buitengracht street in the Cape Town CBD and will definitely be taking my car there for anything tyre/shock/suspension etc related.
