In June 2012 we received a quote to reline out Vinyl pool from PolyPools. The Duration of the relining according to the contract should have taken 4-5 working days, However this job took just over 4 MONTHS to complete. The relining was changed twice, the first lining was full of holes and was thus leaking, the second lining that they brought in was measured incorrectly and was too large for our pool. Finally the third lining was a success. I paid the full amount due to PolyPools (In Cash). After approximately 2-3 weeks, I discovered a grey discoloration of the pools lining, these strange patches were occurring all over the pool, and it only seems to get worse as time goes on. I immediately contacted the Supervisor in charge, Martinn Olivier on several occasions, to which he completely ignored every call that I had made. After that I contacted the owner of the company, Mike Downey who after many emails still has not contacted me back with a proper solution to this problem. It must be noted that my old pools lining was about 20yrs old, I never had a problem like this nor have a changed the chemicals I used.
