I always dread it when I have to repair my shoes. Barksole is the only shoe store that i know is in close proximity to where i work and live. Firstly the shock of how expensive a simple shoe repair has become - most of the time the cost of my original shoe increases between 30 - 80% depending on the work that needs to be done. Secondly, there is always a long queue of people that are mostly as frustrated and shocked about the quotes as i am. Time is what most people don't have and i recently got asked to return again as they seemed to have temporary misplaced the shoe that i've waited to collect for 15mins. The guy refused to give me at least the one pair so long unless i pay the full amount. How do you pay for something that you are not even sure will ever appear again?? What a waste of my time as i specifically went into the mall to collect my shoes as per the original date they gave me. I will never spend another rand in that shop again and am looking forward to a better client experience and definitely better value for my money elsewhere. My client experiences at Barksole has been one disappointment after the other and i have just had it!
