Pioneer Coaches
Drivers abandon 10 passengers at Beitbridge Borde

I would like to express my utter disgust at the customer service (or lack of it) by 2 Pioneer Coaches drivers namely Rambo and Kamwero (not 100% abt the surname but starts with a K) who co-drove from Harare to Joburg on 02 January 2014 (the bus left Roadport at 3pm). There was a long queue at the border post and i (together with 9 other passengers) were stuck in a slow moving queue. Instead of the drivers coming to assist us, they decided to leave all 10 of us behind. 1 of the drivers who was spoken to over the phone had the audacity to say "What were you still doing in the queue? " like it was our fault. They took off with our luggage, blankets and jackets meant to keep us warm along the journey. We boarded another Pioneer bus which as coming from Harare which had vacant seats and had to endure the cold. When we arrived in Joburg, our luggage which was stored at Pioneer's Storage Facility was unattended and the employees there didn't even bother to check (against luggage stickers) if people were taking their rightful luggage. I heard there is an award given to bus companies for arriving early or on time. Its disturbing that Pioneer values this award more than their customers.
