I had my electricity cut for non-payment and yet statements are not delivered on time, if at all. I paid the outstanding amount reconnection fee only to be told that the only proof of payment they accept is via fax & not email or EFT notification. Really now??? Furthermore, reconnection will only be done later in the day when they are done with disconnections. In annoyance and frustration at that, I've since applied for a pre-paid to avoid such maladministration, but guess what... 8 weeks later I'm still waiting yet they claim that pre-paid meters are installed within 6 weeks. I've made several calls & left messages for Bianca, the only person who deals with pre-paid meters, but I've never had a call returned. She's been off-sick for some days, so nothing happens while she's away because she's the only person dealing with that & no one else can help. Next thing, Impact will disconnect me for non-payment... I have still not received a bill and I'm supposed to chase it up with them because... they just don't care about customer service!
