I purchased a brand new Hilux from Toyota recently with the request for a Executive Beekman canopy as it is one of the best looking canopies currently in the market. Delivery of my new vehicle was almost delayed with two weeks due to Beekman that could not supply and colour match the canopy properly. On delivery of the vehicle, it was found that the canopy colour was not matching the vehicle as it was completely off. Some finishing to the canopy was not done. Arrangements were made for me to take the vehicle to Beekman Boksburg to fix up whatever I was not happy with. A guy with the name of Wikus assisted me where I have pointed out that the colour was off, the gas stays were catching against the rubber and other defects like finishing trims, overspray, corrugated sleeving to the wiring, etc. was pointed out and some rectified. Wikus requested my detail so another date could be set for Beekman's painter to be present and for Wikus to sort out the problem of the gas stays. I was never contacted until Toyota assisted. A date was set for a new prepared canopy to fitted to my bakkie on the 2nd of May where it was not ready or even finished, but blaming others instead of themselves.
